首先了解一些外貿(mào)術(shù)語,在外貿(mào)中存在著一些常用的特定術(shù)語,一般是行業(yè)內(nèi)的人才了解的。做翻譯時需要提前了解這些才能更好的服務(wù)客戶。
MOQ --- Minimum Order Quantity(qty),起訂量
FOB --- Fee on Board,離岸價,一般說 FOB+港口,如FOB Shenzhen,客人有時會問“FOB where?”,超級常用
CIF --- Cost, Insurance and Freight ,到岸價;静挥。
Delivery date --- 交貨期,一般是收到訂金(TT[telegraphic transfer] XX% deposit)。
其次:常問句型。
1、問候語。同的offer。同時記錄下每個價格。有時候客人會想把A的壺改為B的尺寸,又把蓋子改為鐵蓋,要求比較復(fù)雜,但都要記錄得清清楚楚,因為回到工廠老板會根據(jù)這個給他e-mail 報價。另外,有些客人會帶外貿(mào)公司的員工過來的,報價一般先報給外貿(mào)公司員工,因為他們要計算提成,所以由他們計算好后再告知客人。
4、客人問能不能拍照 --- 如果問了報價的,一般老板都會讓他拍。有些老板比較緊張自己的設(shè)計,怕他拍了回去給別的廠做,所以那些走進來不問報價只想拍照的,要問下老板讓不讓他拍。
5、客人要求回去e-mail報價 --- 告訴老板就是了,有什么時間格式要求老板自然會問的,翻譯就是了。
句型:對應(yīng)上面流程
1、Good morning. (等客套話)This is our business card, may I have yours? / Thank you !
2、問報價:How do you quote this? / Tell me the quotation, please? / How much is it?
問容量:What's the capacity? How many ml/cc?
問材料:What's the material? Is it porcelain?
問樣品:May I take this sample with me?
問老板后答:OK./ Yes, but we may charge you.
(收樣品費) / Maybe you can come the last day of the exhibition, you can get it free, because we also need it for exhibition.
要求改貨品要素:I want A in B's size, and a stainless steel lid, how much then?

1. The size of our order depends greatly on the prices.
2. Well, if your order is large enough, we are ready to reduce our price by 2 percent.
3. If you reduce your price by 5, we are going to order 1000sets.
